Gurugram (Paridhi Dhasmana), 9 April. The Education Department has shut down Chaitanya Techno School in Gurugram, which was operating without proper recognition. After receiving several complaints about the school, an inspection team visited the campus today. Following their investigation, the department ordered the immediate closure of the school since it had not received approval from any recognized educational board in the country.
A block education officer sent a letter about the matter to the district education officer. In the letter, it was stated that during the visit to the school in Sector 73, a total of 85 students were found attending classes. The list of these students was also forwarded to the district officer. Throughout the investigation, the school staff was unable to produce any documents proving the school’s official accreditation. The inquiry began with a letter written on March 20, and the report was received on March 27.
During the check, students from classes 6, 7, and 8 were seen taking their exams. When questioned, the school management claimed that these students were part of a second branch. However, they did not provide any official documents to support this claim.
The school’s letterhead stated that it was affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). However, instead of a valid recognition number, the letterhead showed placeholder dots, and no proper address was provided.
Based on the findings of the investigation, the education department’s team ordered the school to be closed immediately. In order to ensure that the students’ education is not interrupted, the department also directed the school management to provide all necessary documents so that the students can be enrolled in other recognized schools.
