Gurugram (Paridhi Dhasmana), 15 April — In an unprecedented incident, two rival groups engaged in a physical altercation inside the Farukhnagar police station in Gurugram, leading to chaos and the subsequent arrest of 15 individuals.
According to police reports, the dispute originated in Dhanawas village, where the two parties had a confrontation over an undisclosed issue. Both groups arrived at the Farukhnagar police station to file complaints against each other. While presenting their sides to the police, tensions escalated, resulting in loud arguments and a physical brawl within the station premises.
Despite multiple attempts by the police to de-escalate the situation, the individuals continued their aggressive behavior. Consequently, the police arrested 15 people involved in the altercation. From one group, Ajay, Samay Singh, Vijay, Kalu, Ranveer, Rahul, and Ritesh were taken into custody. From the opposing group, Vinod, Akash Yadav, Satendra, Ravi Yadav, and Ram Avatar were arrested. Preventive legal action has been initiated against all the arrested individuals.
The incident has raised concerns about security measures within police stations and the need for effective conflict resolution mechanisms. Authorities are reviewing the situation to prevent such occurrences in the future.
