Faridabad (Ajay Verma/Paridhi Dhasmana), 22 August — The poster of the upcoming Bollywood film Waqif was unveiled at Silver City Mall in Faridabad, marking the beginning of the film’s promotional journey.
Renowned actor Manoj Bakshi, known for his role in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, attended the launch as a special guest. Speaking to journalists, Bakshi revealed that he plays a comedic police inspector in the film. He added that Waqif has been designed as a family entertainer that audiences of all age groups will enjoy.
Lead actor Harish Sharma also addressed the gathering, sharing details about the film’s rollout. “Today we have launched the poster. Soon, the teaser and music will be released, which will build excitement and draw people to theatres,” Sharma said.
He emphasized that while the film will showcase romance, it will steer clear of obscenity, making it suitable for family viewing. Sharma also confirmed that Waqif is not an OTT release but will hit theatres within the next one to two months.
With its promise of clean storytelling and family appeal, Waqif is positioning itself as a refreshing addition to Bollywood’s upcoming theatrical line-up.
