Gurugram (Paridhi Dhasmana), 13 August – Signature Global Foundation, the CSR arm of Signature Global, today launched ‘Tech Udaan’, a pioneering initiative aimed at providing free computer education to children in rural and semi-urban areas.
Under the programme, a specially designed ‘Digital Bus’ will travel to villages and government schools, equipped with computers, internet connectivity, trained instructors, and a structured curriculum. Students will receive training ranging from basic computer skills to internet safety, introductory coding, and the use of digital communication tools.
Speaking at the launch, Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder and Chairman of Signature Global, emphasised the importance of digital literacy in creating equal opportunities. “Through Tech Udaan, we are taking technology directly to children, helping strengthen their education, career prospects, and future opportunities,” he said.
Over the years, Signature Global Foundation has positively impacted more than 60,000 people through initiatives in education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, skill development, and environmental conservation. Its flagship ‘Project Paathshala’ has benefited 45,235 government school students, ‘Arogya Rise’ has provided doorstep healthcare to 5,500 individuals, and the ‘Jagruk Beti Swasth Beti’ campaign has reached 9,323 girls. Additionally, under the ‘Roots for Change’ programme, the foundation aims to plant 25,000 trees this year.
With Tech Udaan, the foundation aims to reach 100,000 children within the next year, ensuring that modern technological education is accessible to even the most underserved communities.
