Gurugram, 15 June. Sant Nirankari Mission organized a blood donation camp today at Nirankari Satsang Bhawan on local Basai Road. In this, 187 Nirankari devotees voluntarily donated their blood.
Organized under the aegis of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (social department of Sant Nirankari Mission) with the holy blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, this blood donation camp was inaugurated by Ashok Manchanda, Executive Member of Sant Nirankari Mandal Delhi, who was present as the chief guest, along with him were Convener SL Garg of Central Advisory and Planning Board, Medical Service Coordinator Dr. Naresh Arora and Convenor Gurugram Sister Nirmal Manchanda.
After the prayer of the Sewadal, the blood donation started after the holy blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj given by the Chief Guest. Thanking the blood donors, he said that by donating blood, the devotees of the Mission are practically following the statement of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj that ‘blood should flow in the veins, not in the drains’. Nirankari devotees are giving life to others by donating blood while living a life of charity, and at the same time are also contributing to human welfare. Today’s blood donation camp is also a symbol of this selfless service.
He told that due to being dedicated to the orders of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, Sant Nirankari Mission is the leading blood donor organization of the country and is the main and largest source of blood. Blood donation camps are organized by the Nirankari Mission from time to time as per the need. Blood donation camps are organized continuously in the country and abroad since the year 1986. He encouraged the blood donors participating in the blood donation camp and praised their true service for public welfare.
On this occasion, he said that Sant Nirankari Mission is a mission of humanity which always strives to serve public welfare. By organizing such blood donation camps from time to time, efforts are made to save the lives of the needy by overcoming the shortage of blood. The Mission has always been praised for all these services being done for public welfare.
He told that Sant Nirankari Mission is doing many services from time to time across the world for the welfare of the public, so that proper development of the society can take place. The Mission has also been appreciated and honored by the Central and State Governments from time to time for all these services.
There was a lot of enthusiasm among the blood donors on this occasion of blood donation and women also donated blood. In today’s blood donation camp, 259 blood donors were registered, out of which only 187 units of blood could be taken. 105 units of blood were collected by Red Cross Society Delhi and 82 units by Civil Hospital Blood Bank. 32 women and 155 male blood donors were involved in this.
During this blood donation camp, the team of Red Cross Society Delhi for blood donation was led by Dr. Zuber Ahmed and the team of Gurugram Civil Hospital Blood Bank was led by Dr. Manisha Bhardwaj. Secretary of Gurugram Red Cross Society Vikas Kumar and the team of doctors thanked Nirankari Mission and Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation for organizing such a blood donation camp and congratulated them for such inspiring blood donation.
The Mission thanked all the distinguished guests present in the blood donation camp, including the doctor and his team and the blood donors. Ample arrangements for refreshments etc. were made for the blood donors.
