Gurugram (Paridhi Dhasmana/Mohit Kumar), 25 July – Cyber Spaze 2025, a five-day intra-school IT fest, commenced today at Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram, with an electrifying start. Organized for students from Classes 3 to 12, the event aims to fuse digital literacy with creativity, real-world learning, and a strong message: Tech for Good. The inaugural ceremony was held at the Sita Devi Memorial Multipurpose Hall. Mr. Priyanshu Dewan, ACP, Cyber Police Gurugram, is the Chief Guest for the event.
“This week-long event is designed to help children think beyond classroom boundaries,” said Principal Roopali Kudesia, “It’s about experiential learning—preparing them for a world where digital literacy is essential, but so is understanding cyber security, which is the need of the hour.”
The fest is more than just a tech showcase—it’s a learning laboratory. According to Sunita Yadav, event coordinator and IT educator, “We’ve included hands-on modules like Robotics, where students are learning to design cars, smart doorbells, streetlights, even automated homes. It’s not just tech—they’re developing practical life skills and problem-solving abilities.”
Adding to this vision, Associate Director (IT) Anshuka Aneja emphasized that this year’s theme, Tech for Good, pushes students to apply technology meaningfully. “We wanted to shift the focus from theory to real application,” she said. “Students came up with ideas aimed at social betterment, showing the positive side of tech—be it for schools, communities, or society at large.”
Activities are structured to be age-appropriate and skill-specific, with inter-class competitions and final rounds currently underway. From coding challenges to design thinking tasks, students are getting a deep dive into STEM and digital innovation.
Meanwhile, some students were also seen competing in the Junior and Senior Computer Labs, tackling IT challenges in real time.
The event will continue until July 29, but if Day 1 is anything to go by, Cyber Spaze 2025 is not just sparking young minds—it’s shaping future-ready innovators.
“While gadgets and code may take centre stage, Cyber Spaze 2025 is clearly about more than just screens. It’s about shaping young digital citizens—curious, aware, and ready to innovate for good.”
