
Industries Minister Rao Narbir Singh Holds Stakeholder Consultation on Key Industrial Policies
Haryana will play a crucial role in realizing the vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Viksit Bharat’

Gurugram, July 25. The Haryana Government is working extensively to promote various industrial sectors. The state is committed to developing an industry-friendly policy framework that ensures economic progress, global competitiveness, and ease of doing business.
He said this while addressing a stakeholder consultation meeting held at the PWD Rest House in Gurugram on the draft Haryana Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Manufacturing Policy, 2025 and Haryana Electronics Waste Recycling Policy, 2025.
Rao Narbir Singh said under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana Government has undertaken several positive initiatives to encourage entrepreneurs and startups. For the convenience of business owners, 135 services have been made available online through the Invest Haryana portal. These services are monitored at a high level to ensure timely delivery across departments, and the system is regularly updated based on stakeholder feedback.
Speaking about the E-Waste Recycling Policy, he said electronic waste recycling is a crucial sector in today’s time. The policy has been prepared in line with Prime Minister Modi’s 3R approach — Reduce, Reuse and Recycle — to ensure Haryana plays a key role in the ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ vision. He assured the participating stakeholders that their suggestions would be included in the final version of the policy to position Haryana as a leading industrial state.
Commissioner and Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department, Amit Kumar Agrawal, said Haryana is committed to building a modern, innovation-based and self-reliant industrial ecosystem. New and emerging sectors are being identified, and specific policies and development-oriented programmes are being framed for them.
The meeting involved wide-ranging discussions with stakeholders on strengthening the e-waste management framework in the state, promoting recycling infrastructure, encouraging extended producer responsibility, and supporting skill development and innovation in the circular economy. Stakeholders also offered valuable suggestions for promoting domestic manufacturing of medical devices, ensuring training, and providing essential infrastructure under the Make in India initiative.
Director General of Industries and Commerce, D.K. Behera, participated in the meeting via video conference. Chief Technology Officer Nitin Bansal welcomed representatives from the industry and introduced the key features of the state’s new policies, including provisions to support entrepreneurs.
The meeting was attended by the Minister’s Advisor Virender Singh, senior department officials, and representatives from major industry groups and associations such as Poly Medicure, Association of Indian Medical Devices, Mankind Pharma, Karo Sambhav, Namo E-Waste Management Ltd., and Yagya Industries etc.
