Gurugram (Paridhi Dhasmana), 17 July – Sector 41 residents are grappling with a growing sanitation crisis as heaps of garbage dumped from the nearby village of Silokhara remain unattended, posing serious health and hygiene concerns.
According to Dinesh Chalia, President of the Sector 41 RWA, “People from Silokhara are dumping their waste inside our sector, and despite repeated complaints, the sanitary team is not picking it up.” Chalia adds that the volume of waste is too large to be handled manually and requires a JCB machine for effective and timely clearance. “Earlier, we used to get a JCB for such work. Now they simply say, ‘we don’t have resources’. Can someone look into this mess?” he stated.
