
Zonal Administrator Ashutosh Rajan participates in ‘shramdaan’, administers cleanliness pledge to officials and traders
Zonal Administrator conducts surprise inspection of Executive Engineer’s office, issues show-cause notices to absent employees

Gurugram, August 30. Under the Haryana Shehri Swachhta Abhiyan, a special cleanliness drive was conducted today in all market committees of Gurugram district, including New Vegetable Market Gurugram, New Grain Market Heli Mandi, New Grain Market Farrukhnagar, and New Grain Market Sohna.
Ashutosh Rajan, Zonal Administrator of Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, Gurugram, actively participated in the campaign by performing shramdaan (voluntary labour) at the New Vegetable Market Gurugram. On this occasion, employees of all offices of the Marketing Board also actively joined the cleanliness drive.
During the campaign, Ashutosh Rajan administered the cleanliness pledge to employees and traders and instructed all traders to keep dustbins near their shops. He clearly stated that action will be taken against anyone violating cleanliness rules. Street vendors were also directed to maintain cleanliness and keep dustbins. In case of violation, their carts will be confiscated.
The Zonal Administrator also conducted a surprise inspection of the Executive Engineer’s office and directed that show-cause notices be issued to employees found absent. Rajan said that cleanliness is of utmost importance and the campaign will continue regularly. He also appealed to the public to keep their surroundings clean and spread awareness among others. He added that the market committee performing best in the cleanliness campaign will be rewarded.
On this occasion, Vinay Yadav, District Marketing Enforcement Officer, Gurugram, Yaduraj Yadav, Secretary and Executive Officer, Market Committee Gurugram, along with other dignitaries, were present and participated in the shramdaan.
