Gurugram, 26 April – Union Minister and Gurugram MP Rao Inderjit Singh announced today that, to relieve the city’s notorious traffic congestion, an elevated highway will be built from Delhi all the way to Manesar. He has already discussed the project with Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. Singh was in town to hand out appointment letters to young candidates at the Prime Minister’s Employment Fair.
After presenting letters to 147 youths, Singh told reporters that the biggest challenge facing Gurugram today is gridlock. “I have met with Minister Gadkari about this issue,” he said, “and very soon we will construct an elevated expressway from Delhi through Gurugram, which will completely eliminate the city’s traffic jams.”
In response to another question, he revealed that work on a 750-bed government hospital in Gurugram will begin shortly. “The architectural plans are being finalized,” he explained, “and once they’re complete, tenders will be issued. After that, residents will have access to a new super-specialty facility, ensuring top-quality medical care within the district.”
