
Public utility items will be made from plastic waste of the Mandi
The cleanliness system of the Mandi will be strengthened with the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model

Faridabad (Ajay Verma), June 3. On the occasion of International Environment Day, the “Eco Empower” program was inaugurated by NIT-86 MLA Satish Kumar Phaganna in the Market Committee office on Tuesday in partnership with Pernod -Ricard India Foundation and its CSR partner the Social Lab with Market Committee Faridabad.
Avantika Singh, GM, Pernod Ricard India, Viney Yadav, DMEO HSAMB, Sahil Arora CEO, TSL, Yaduraj Yadav, Secretary Market Committee along with hundreds of traders were present in the function.
MLA in his address to public emphasis the importance of cleanness and said this is first experiment of recycling of plastic waste in the Mandi across the state, where plastic waste collected from traders, vendors will be recycled and public utility items such as bench, urinals would be made from it, the circular plastic economy will play an important role in sustainable development of public utilities. The MLA unveiled the mascot of the program “Eco Man” and flagged off the vehicle collecting plastic waste from the Mandi.
