Sealing Drive Intensified – 5 Properties Sealed in Zone-1 under the Leadership of Zonal Taxation Officer Pankaj Kumar

Gurugram, September 16. The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has intensified its crackdown on property tax defaulters. Special teams of the Tax Branch are carrying out sealing drives across different parts of the city against defaulting properties that have failed to clear their outstanding dues.
5 Properties Sealed in Zone-1
On Tuesday, five properties in Zone-1 were sealed for failing to pay property tax despite repeated notices. The action was carried out under the supervision of Zonal Taxation Officer Pankaj Kumar, along with Tax Inspector Pankaj Saluja and other staff members.

The sealed properties include:
Auvana Munja, Bestech Cyber Park, Narsinghpur – outstanding dues of ₹78,40,117
B.R. Arora, Bestech Cyber Park, Narsinghpur – dues of ₹69,03,051
Harilok Properties, Bestech Cyber Park, Narsinghpur – dues of ₹17,24,867
Another property, Bestech Cyber Park, Narsinghpur – dues of ₹1,49,80,950
An industrial/comercial property in Kadipur – dues of ₹3,34,78,864
Action to Extend to Other Zones
The sealing drive is not limited to Zone-1. MCG’s tax recovery teams will also initiate similar actions in Zones 2, 3, and 4 in the coming days.
Focus on Recovery of Outstanding Dues
MCG Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya stated that property tax collections are a crucial source of revenue for improving civic amenities, infrastructure, and sanitation services in the city. He made it clear that no leniency will be shown towards defaulters.
He also appealed to all property owners to pay their taxes on time to avoid legal action, emphasizing that tax payment is a civic duty that directly contributes to Gurugram’s development. The MCG will continue strict action against those who fail to clear their dues.
