Gurugram: Promoting environmental conservation and community responsibility, the NCC cadets of JW/JD and SD/SW wings of Blue Bells Model School enthusiastically participated in a sapling plantation drive under the nationwide campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’.
The initiative was organised with the aim of encouraging students to contribute towards a greener and healthier environment while also expressing love, respect and gratitude towards their mothers. As part of the drive, the cadets planted a variety of saplings across the school campus as well as in the nearby Ram Park.
The plantation activity went beyond simply planting trees, with the cadets also taking a pledge to nurture and protect the saplings in the years ahead.
