Temporary cafes and dhabas had been set up illegally on agricultural land

Gurugram, September 18. The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) took strict action against illegal constructions and encroachments today. The enforcement team demolished around 12 unauthorized structures, including cafes, dhabas, and other temporary setups, located in front of AVL Society at Sector-36A on the Dwarka Expressway.
The demolition drive was carried out in the presence of MCG officials. Assistant Engineer Raj Kishan Mongia, Junior Engineers Varun Vashisth and Ankit Kapoor supervised the action. With the support of police personnel, the operation was executed smoothly and peacefully.
Assistant Engineer R.K. Mongia stated that making the city encroachment-free is a top priority for MCG. He emphasized that illegal constructions on public land will not be tolerated, and such actions will continue in the coming days.
