Author: Pardeep Narula Gurugram, May 23, 2026: Blue Bells Model School organised an enriching Capacity Building Session on “Implementation of Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence” on Saturday with the objective of empowering educators with contemporary teaching methodologies and strengthening their understanding of future-ready competencies essential for 21st-century learners.

The professional development programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from educators and focused on integrating emerging technologies, computational thinking methodologies, and artificial intelligence into classroom teaching practices.

The event commenced with a warm welcome to the distinguished resource person, Mr. Mikin Lala, an eminent education innovator, entrepreneur, and member of the CBSE Curriculum Committee for Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence. The school leadership felicitated him in recognition of his contributions towards transforming education through technology-enabled learning practices and innovative curriculum development.
The programme formally began with the ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolising knowledge, innovation, and excellence in education. A vibrant cultural presentation by students added enthusiasm and warmth to the event, creating an inspiring atmosphere for the participants.
Addressing the gathering, the school leadership reiterated the institution’s commitment towards equipping educators with emerging competencies and promoting a culture of lifelong learning and innovation. He emphasised Computational Thinking as a foundational skill essential for modern learners and explained practical strategies for incorporating Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence across multiple academic disciplines.
He elaborated on methods that enable students to develop logical reasoning, analytical thinking, creativity, innovation, and structured problem-solving capabilities. The session also offered important perspectives on implementing the CBSE curriculum framework aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The interactive nature of the programme encouraged active participation from educators, who engaged in discussions and explored practical classroom applications of Artificial Intelligence and Computational Thinking. Teachers gained deeper understanding of integrating AI-based learning experiences, assessment practices, and experiential learning opportunities into their pedagogy.
