Chandigarh, June 21. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today visited the residence of Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij in Ambala Cantonment to inquire about his health and wished him a speedy recovery.
On the occasion, Energy Minister Anil Vij presented a shawl to Saini as a mark of respect. Earlier, upon the Chief Minister’s arrival at Minister Vij’s residence, he was warmly welcomed by Anil Vij’s brother Rajinder Vij, Kapil Vij, uncle Retired Wing Commander S.D. Vij, Gaurav Vij, Shubham Vij and other family members, as well as a large number of BJP workers.
It is noteworthy that Energy Minister Anil Vij has been advised rest by doctors due to a fracture in his foot.
Energy Minister Vij sustained the injury about a month ago. Despite the injury, he continued to actively oversee developmental work and participated in departmental meetings at the Chandigarh Secretariat and other locations. Even while enduring significant pain in his leg, he spent seven continuous hours inspecting flood preparedness in Ambala Cantonment, issuing directives to district officials. Although he took medication as per medical advice, the increasing pain prompted an X-ray on Friday, which revealed a fracture in the toe, following which doctors advised him to rest for a few days.
