“Heritage is not about the past, it is about what we pass on to the future.”
Amity International School, Sector 46, Gurugram, under the visionary guidance of Chairperson Dr. Amita Chauhan and the able leadership of Principal Arti Chopra, participated in the prestigious INTACH National Heritage Quiz 2025-26 held on 29th August 2025 at Vedatya Institute, Garhi Bazidpur, Gurugram.
The quiz was organized by INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage) to promote awareness about India’s glorious history, heritage sites, monuments, art, and culture among the younger generation. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 14 reputed schools with a total of 30 teams.
The competition began with a written preliminary round, where students answered questions testing their in-depth knowledge of Indian heritage and culture. From Amity International School, Team 4, comprising Arnav Walia (Class VII B) and Daksh Parmar (Class VIII H), showcased their remarkable knowledge and critical thinking skills to qualify for the on-stage final round.
In the vibrant stage round, the atmosphere was charged with excitement as teams battled through multiple rounds, including visual recognition of heritage sites, rapid-fire questions on historical facts, and analytical reasoning based on cultural traditions. Competing against the best, our students demonstrated confidence, teamwork, and presence of mind, ultimately securing the IIIrd Prize.
This remarkable achievement is a matter of pride for the entire Amity fraternity and reflects the school’s continuous efforts to inculcate values of curiosity, respect, and responsibility towards India’s cultural legacy. The accomplishment also stands as a testimony to the school’s emphasis on holistic learning, where knowledge extends beyond classrooms into real-world experiences.
