Gurugram (Paridhi Dhasmana), 18 April – Dev Samaj Vidya Niketan School in Sector 7 today marked World Earth Day with a “Prosperity through Cleanliness” programme designed to instill the importance of sanitation among students. Through a short play, participants demonstrated how simple habits can contribute to a healthier environment. At the close of the performance, all students took a solemn pledge to remain vigilant about cleanliness in their school and community.
The event was jointly organized by the Gurugram Municipal Corporation and United Way Delhi. The chief guest was Mr. Vishal, Joint Commissioner‑I of the Gurugram Municipal Corporation, and the special guest was Councillor Vijay Parmar of Ward No. 32. The event was coordinated by Mr. Kuldeep Hindustani, Brand Ambassador for the Municipal Corporation’s Swachh Bharat Mission, alongside Ms. Surbhi Rathore, Cleanliness Advisor to the Gurugram Municipal Corporation. Also present was Mr. Rajiv Arya, representative of Councillor Vijay Parmar.
