Gurugram (Paridhi Dhasmana), 9 April. The Gurugram Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory in anticipation of the Cyclothon Rally scheduled for April 11, 2025, from 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This event, part of the ‘Drug-Free Haryana’ initiative, will necessitate temporary road closures and diversions to ensure the safety of participants and the public.
The rally will commence on the Pali-Dhauj Faridabad-Ballabhgarh Road and proceed through Badshahpur, Thether, Lala Khedli, Mundawar, Harchandpur Bus Stand, Kiran ki Khedli Chowk, Naineda Toll, and Lakhuwas T-point before turning right towards Sohna. Consequently, this route will be closed to vehicular traffic during the event hours.
Additionally, vehicles traveling from Palwal to Sohna will encounter restrictions from the Mumbai Expressway roundabout to Sohna. Furthermore, the service road from Sohna to Dhunela will be inaccessible between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
To accommodate travellers, the following alternative routes are recommended:
- Motorists traveling from Sohna to Faridabad can use the Palwal Road or route via Gurugram.
- Alternatively, travelers can utilize the Nuh Road to access the KMP Expressway, leading to the Faridabad Expressway.
- For those journeying from Palwal to Taoru via Sohna, the suggested route is through the Mumbai Expressway connecting to the KMP Expressway towards Taoru.
Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, follow the directions of traffic personnel deployed along these routes, and anticipate potential delays. The Gurugram Traffic Police appreciate the public’s cooperation in ensuring the success and safety of the Cyclothon Rally.
