Gurugram (Paridhi Dhasmana), July 26 — In a timely display of public service, Gurugram Police helped a CET exam candidate reach their exam centre after the candidate’s vehicle caught fire en route.
The incident occurred when the candidate’s car developed an electrical fault, causing the wiring to catch fire. Stranded and losing precious minutes before a crucial entrance examination, the individual found immediate support from the Gurugram Police.
Responding to the situation with urgency, SHO Traffic KMP quickly intervened, ensuring the candidate was safely transported to the examination venue without delay.
The police action was carried out under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Vikas Arora, IPS, and the supervision of DCP Traffic Dr. Rajesh Mohan, IPS. Their coordinated response not only averted a potential disaster but also reinforced public confidence in the police as a dependable civic ally.
Officials confirmed that the fire was controlled without injuries, and the candidate reached the centre on time.
